You know that in NLP we work with the unconscious mind. This is where all effective learning and change occurs.

Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation for our clients that also allows us to communicate effectively with the unconscious mind.

For various reasons, many people have misconceptions about what hypnosis is, what it does and how it is used. In NLP, we focus on its real use – for relaxation and positive change.

Hypnosis is not:

  • Sleep
  • Being unconscious
  • Being controlled by someone

or any other common misconceptions that people have.

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness that allows direct communication with your client’s unconscious mind.

The practice of hypnosis has actually been around for thousands of years, and you actually do it every day, when you’re watching TV or driving a car. In practice, this ability has been utilised as a process of helping a client embed therapeutic changes whilst using a process of imagination and relaxation.
