What is Neuro Linguistic Programming?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a name that is given to what is in essentially an instruction or owner’s manual for the mind;
Neuro (relating to the mind)

Back in the 1970s, Richard Bandler and John Grinder decided to seek out the best communicators and therapists at the time. Grinder was a professor of linguistics and Bandler had a background in psychology, and they discussed how the two overlapped. This was the start of NLP and what is based on! They were curious and fascinated to study how excellent therapists had been producing results over many years (therapists like Milton Erikson, Fritz Pearl & Virginia Satir). What is it that made these people different at what they did, how did they manage to produce consistently great results for their clients. It was these early studies that lead to what Bandler and Grinder describe as a philosophy (a way of thinking) and a trial of techniques emerged and have evolved over the years, which today can be distilled into processes and an insightful mindset that we can learn and apply to achieve our desired outcomes.
